The CCAA and Accounts Receivable Outsourcing

The CCAA is comprised of premium collection agencies who are looking for companies or creditors who utilize accounts receivable outsourcing to collect their debts. Each member collection agency maintains their own collection and support staff, along with in-house collection attorneys or a collection attorney network with which to collect debts received from accounts receivable outsourcing. Many members employ collection attorneys within their own operation to aid in the collection or litigation of the accounts receivable obtained through outsourcing. The outsourcing of debts or accounts receivable is a common practice these days and one that is cost effective to the creditor or entity outsourcing the debt, which could also be another collection agency or even a collection law firm.

There are many companies that outsource their accounts receivable for collection to third party collectors. Other than the most obvious creditors, there are many companies that utilize accounts receivable outsourcing to premium collection agencies. One prime example is companies that buy debt, commonly referred to as debt buyers. These companies buy accounts receivables at greatly discounted rates as low as 1 to 4 cents on the dollar and outsource the collection of the debts to qualified collection agencies for recovery. Two of the most popular of the outsourcing receivables are bankcard or credit card accounts and loan accounts.

Accounts receivable outsourcing is a viable way for a company to farm out the difficult job of collecting receivables so that their personnel can do the more productive jobs that earn their company money. If your company is interested in outsourcing your accounts receivable, please consider the premium collection agencies who are members of the CCAA. All of our member agencies are certified by the Commercial Law League of America.
